Finally a strong week (here's what happened)
Week 16 (Oct 13-19, 2025)
We’re past the halfway mark in this 3-month season. For the first time, it feels like things are actually clicking. I’m not just building anymore; I’m starting to believe it’ll work.
Hello! I’m Zoli, 17, building a tech business, documenting the journey.
Finally
I used to write my notes day-to-day. It sounded productive, but it’s really inefficient. Now, I batch: I sit down once, write the next 3-4 days ahead, and let future-me rest.
Best decision of the week. Huge thanks to Tim Ferriss (4-Hour Workweek) for the idea.
We also got really close to 50 subscribers (actually hit it since then). Unreal.
Productivity isn’t doing more. It’s doing once and letting systems handle it.
Coding: 1, Zoli: 0 (again)
Still brutal.
I’ve been building a small fitness app (an MVP: the first usable version of a product), and every single day came with new, ugly bugs.
Progression felt painfully slow, but I learned a ton. Now I have a pretty clear image of how real MVP development actually looks.
Growth went atomic
I restarted Atomic Habits, with a new reading system (stay tuned for a post on that). Also designed my productivity challenge and started a course to learn more about productivity.
What’s next (week 17)
Substack: refine my schedule, post consistently, upgrade my content.
Coding: start my next MVP with the lessons I learned this week.
Growth: keep up habits, start productivity challenge, study SaaS.
Business: draft my business model canvas and product ideas.
Join the First 100
I’m challenging myself to reach 100 subscribers by the end of November 2025. If you want to be remembered as the foundation, join the journey.
This week wasn’t easy, but things finally started to make sense. Maybe, just maybe, I’m finally getting into the rhythm.
See you next week,
Zoli
