Not caring can make you unstoppable.
Let motivation fade away, it'll change everything.
On Saturday, I lost all motivation.
Not the “I need a break“ kind.
I mean, completely gone. Empty.
Hey, it’s Zoli. I’m 17, building a business from scratch, and documenting the journey.
Maybe you’ve felt this too: the weird emptiness where motivation should be. Let me share how I dealt with this, so next time you feel this way, you’ll know what to do.
Saturday hit different.
I met a good friend, and we had a short but great time. This was when I realized I could live a normal life and be fine with it: work a 9-5, build a family. Be one of many.
And for the first time, I didn’t hate this idea.
This made me terrified: did I give up? Did I lose?
But this was when I understood something bigger: I no longer needed motivation.
I stopped caring about money and fame.
From now on, I only care about getting better every day.
From this point, I run on pure discipline, not moods. Motivation is optional.
Without it, I feel free: progress no longer depends on how I feel.
I lost motivation, and it might be the best thing that ever happened to me.
I’m done chasing the feeling of progress. Now I progress.
If you learn one thing this week, let it be this one:
Depending on motivation isn’t freedom. Being able to progress in any situation is.
Could you progress with zero motivation?
See you next week,
Zoli
